SECO 2011 Proposals

On behalf of the Continuing Education Committee of SECO International, LLC, we invite you to submit course proposals for SECO 2011, February 9-13, 2011, at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia. I encourage you to submit one and two-hour courses or workshops for both Optometrist and Allied Ophthalmic Professional programs.

To submit proposals click here and log in to your SECO profile. Users who have a SECO Profile and cannot recall their username and password can request their username and password using the lost account feature. Users who do not have a SECO Profile must create one before submitting course abstract proposals. SECO may wish to contact you about a proposal, so please provide current contact information in your user profile.

SECO will accept course proposals for consideration November 2, 2009-March 14, 2010. SECO will give priority consideration to presenters who submit new, innovative courses, as well as two or more courses. SECO also will give priority consideration to presenters who are responsive to SECO during the selection process and available to attend the entire SECO meeting date range. SECO will notify presenters selected for SECO 2011 in May of 2010. Please notify SECO if your availability to lecture at SECO 2011 has changed and you are unable to participate.

Please do not be discouraged if you are not selected. SECO receives hundreds of submissions to fill approximately 80 OD Program courses and 130 Allied Ophthalmic Professionals Program courses and makes every attempt to ultimately select all qualified speakers.

If you have any questions about the abstract proposal process, please contact Deborah Black at education@secostaff.com or 770-451-8206.

Thank you for your time and effort, we look forward to reviewing a selection of exciting and innovative proposals!
