History / Objective Data

Case #80

DGR #80 A 77 y/o white female comes in for her one day post-op visit following cataract surgery. She was patched the day. Upon removing her patch, she complains of some irritation in surgical eye.

Vision was normal in the non-surgical eye, 20/25. The surgical eye was 20/40 -2 with no correction.

Her surgical eye, upon biomicroscopy was found to have no significant corneal edema, but the cornea looked as the photo to your left. Anterior chamber showed mild cell and flare. The non-surgical eye was normal in all respects, except for a minimal nuclear sclerotic cataract.

IOP was normal, 15mm in the non-surgical eye, and 19mm in the right eye (surgical eye).
