History / Objective Data

Case #78

A 29 y/o white male presented for the first time in our office with complaints that his left eye felt 'funny' over the previous two or three days. He reported no vision problems, and did mention that the left eye had been struck as a child, but no damage resulted.

Uncorrected vision was 20/20 OU. Anterior segment evaluation was normal. IOP was 17mmHg in the right eye and 15mmHg in the left. EOMs, phorias, were all normal. Pupils were normal.

Dilated fundus evaluation showed a perfectly normal retina in the right eye, but the left eye wasn't so lucky, as you can see in the photo to the left.
