AIDS-related retinopathy is a constantly changing clinical picture, with new treatment scenarios emerging, and ever-improving 'cocktails' and the like to help prevent or slow the downward slide of these patients. Once Cytomegalovirus retinopathy has surfaced, the patient is severely compromised.
