
This excellent case came from Mark Dunbar, OD of Bascom Balmer. Mark will be speaking at SECO again this year ('97). His presentations are a must-see.
A 14 y/o black male presents with symptoms of bilateral redness and itching on and off for the past 8 months. He also notes a thick mucoid discharge. He has used several different ophthalmic peparations in the past, but nothing really helps. He does not remember the names of any of these.
In the examination you note 2+ injection, , and changes on the limbus as shown in the photograph. The rest of his anterior segment and posterior pole are unremarkable.
What is this condition?
