A 47 y/o white male presented with complaints of distortion and decreased vision in his left eye. The patient reported that these changes had taken place over the previous two weeks.
Vision in the right eye was 20/25+ with minimal refractive error found. The left eye was best corrected with a +1.25 sphere and 20/50- acuity.
Anterior segment was normal. Pupils were normal. EOMs were normal. The patient was also found to have IOPs of 20mm in the right and 21 in the left with applanation tonometry.
Retinal evaluation showed the visual findings seen on the photo to your left. The right eye was normal, however, and looked nothing like the photo seen here.
