A 30 y/o white male presented with complaints of blurry vision in the left eye and the presence
No significant family or personal history of systemic disease was noted, but the patient did say that he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1991 and subsequentled underwent surgery for it. Double vision was troublesome for a while after surgery. The patient could not be more specific upon further questioning, except that he did indicate that the surgery had been in the cerebellar region.
Vision with his mildly myopic habitual correction was 20/25+ in the right eye and 20/100 in the left. Refraction yielded no improvement.
Muscle fields were normal but there was slight nystagmus in both eyes.
No afferent pupil defect was found. IOP was 16 in the right and 12 in the left.
Biomicroscopy revealed clear cornea and anterior chambers. No lens opacity was present either.
Dilated fundus evaluation was performed and 3+ vitreous heme was found in the left eye. There was also some evidence of elevation, but overall view of the retina was poor.
The patient was referred to a retinal specialist who performed the angiography pictured here.
What is the diagnosis, and what management most likely ensured?
