Digital Grand Rounds Case #116
A 52 y/o black male presented with complaints of reduced vision OU. No personal or family history of eye disease was given, nor any significant systemic history.
The patient had vision of 20/30 and 20/40 in the right and left eyes respectively with his habitual correction. Refraction revealed a small increase in his myopia and astigmatism, with solid 20/20 vision OD, OS resulting.
EOMs were normal.
IOP was 13 mmHg in the right eye and 14 mmHg in the left.
Pupils were normal.
Biomicroscopy showed normal corneas, anterior chambers, iris structure, and lenses.
Retinal findings upon dilated examination were normal in the right eye as well as the left, with the exception of the disk findings OS seen in the picture above.
